Brockville Courthouses Setup & Directions

In Brockville the Superior Court of Justice (which hears serious criminal matters, all family matters, and all civil matters including small claims) and the Ontario Court of Justice are co-located at 41 Courthouse Square.

Right next door at 32 Wall Street is the Provincial Offences Court.

Heading southwest on the Highway 401, take exit 696 for County Road 29 toward Brockville/Smiths Falls. In 500m, turn left onto County Rd 29 (signs for County Road 29 S/County Road 2/Downtown) and finally turn left onto John Ross Matheson Way. After 1.5km, courthouse will be located on the left. The POA is just around the corner on Wall Street.

Brockville Courthouses Parking

There is short term free parking available on the street right in front of the courthouses in additional to parking meters. Longer term parking is available on more remote streets and at a municipal parking lot location down by the marina.

Brockville Courthouses Hours and Setup

SCJ and OCJ Courthouse hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. POA Court is 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

For the SCJ/OCJ Courthouse, walking through the main front doors duty counsel office is to the right, and the court clerk's offices are to the left. All courtrooms are located at the back on the first and second floors, in the more modern addition that was added to the original building. There are public meeting rooms on the first and second floor. 

There is currently no security screening.
